poot thai nik noi.
that means i speak thai little little. i actually fell asleep on my dictionary yesterday without sorting out the clothes i bought.
well, bangkok was something similar to indonesia, much cleaner with the dying flowers in the middle of a 8 lane road. but the people there are very very courteous, and the food delicious. though i only ate KFC and indian food.
arriving in bangkok ard 4pm their time, we went down to the pratunam market, which is like stretches of little stalls everywhere. we met this guy of arab and thai descendance. VERY good looking. its a pity we didnt take pictures with him. Oh, and he has a younger sister who's pregnant. and she's 15 years old. looks far from 18 though.
highlight of day one: thai massage for 200Baht. which is roughly $10. in singapore you pay 5 times that amount ok. i got this very pretty girl who spoke english pretty well for a thai. not many 17year olds go for thai massages she says. it was very relaxing untill she got up and pulled my limbs from end to end.
bangkok is filled with throngs of supersized malls. ok, i only visited one supersized mall that i know of. MBK is boring, so i wont talk about it, except for the very very pretty young girl i saw. :D i bought this STUPID dreamcatcher for like 400baht. at night i saw a nicer one for 250baht at suan lum. but it was worth it, because she was so pretty.
i tell you, going shopping with old people is no good. 1st, they have horrendous sense of dressing, unless you're a girl or very fashion deprived teen and take 2 hours to get from loyang point to my house. i leave them at some shop, and i can go walking from one end to the next and come back to see them at the same excact place haggling over something which costs $3 in singapore. and the only difference is a meagre 20c. (im no better, but i know when to stop.. and thats why i always spend more than others.)
and i cannot say kai song tao rai (whole sale how much) to them. since my wholesale amount is at most 4. so im not sure if i got enough stuff for everyone. next time give me money i buy for you people more, if not i never buy ok?
and kamiliah never got us anything when she went to japan. ok she never gave me anything la.
speaking of buying stuff for others, my cousin bought more stuff for her friends and family than herself.
which then makes me realize i did not buy so many stuff. only tees and tees and tees, oh and 13 pairs of flip flops/slippers.
then there was this place , khao sarn road. which is a road. filled with many many stuff. actually more or less the same old crap but its the culture there which makes the place lively. its described as the backpacker's haven, and it is la. the road sides are filled with people making dreadlocks for others (at a very costly price of 1500baht, $70.). my brother can make for you for $10 ok. but now he botak since he's in ns. i seriously would have undergone the transformation if i had money with me. i was only left with $40 when i reached khao san on the 4th night.
seriously i have to get back for more shopping and more sightseeing at double the pace. i think the slower you walk, the faster you get tired and hungry. and also complete less stuff.
oh, and the tuk tuk was very very fun. its better on weekends, since the roads are totally clear on weekends and very full on weekdays. so the tuk tuks can go fast fast.
yay.
kap khun krap for reading all this shit.
