today, i found out that you can walk round and round around kino. because, i didnt know that the escalator inside kino was wrapped around the whole kino floor.(its kinda tough to understand..) so i ended up walking round and round kino without knowing it until i passed by a lady 3 times. all this while looking for the fiction section.
my pre-bankok shopping spree today concluded at 7+++. with only one book related to bangkok in the pre-bangkok spree. i had wanted to go over to esplanade to watch a piano concert for $6, which is far more cheaper than any movie ticket; or go for a 3 movie screening at the substation, which was for free, which makes it even cheaper than a movie ticket. but i did neither since i was wearing a small student leader tee and slippers. not very appropriate to go to an arts event i guess.
something very weird happened to me today. while walking through wisma/taka, i noticed mirrors on my right made me look horrendous. ok, it made my hair look horrendous. while on mirrors on the left, melted my heart through and through. i brought home an umbrella from oriental today, i shld have chosen a better one, this one is abit loose. the umbrella is meant for the patrons of the pool of course. but it was raining real heavy just now. barely kept me wet.
i shld be going to the gym(FINALLY la heikal) tmr morning. if not thursday. i think its just a waste of time going to the gym when i can just do sit ups and crunches and squats at home, ANYTIME i want. but i never seem to bother to do anything at home but clear my mail, contemplate what cd to listen to, think of what to do the whole day or play the piano. oh my, i think i'll play the piano in the morning instead tmr. gym can wait.
today was the 5th time i cancelled out on a gym outing. heh.
i really really want to volunteer my time at the necessary stage, but i dont think they have any upcoming events, so whats there to volunteer right? maybe when i get back from bangkok i'll sign up for the thingy.
well today the lady, a new lady, from school called to inform me i'll be collecting colours award on the 30th at 3.30pm. 1st thing, that is a very late speech day at 3.30pm. 2ndly its abt time i got recognized with something more than words. 3rdly. SILVER?! damn it i deserve a gold.
i dont think i want my parents to come down and see me recieve a piece of silver-plated paper.
