bones sinking like stones.

all of us are done for

not all is lost.

my piano teacher encouraged me to watch kingdom of heaven, because if i dont know the history of islam, i'll never truly try to be one(muslim). so, i watched the movie and did a little bit of reading up on the history of Jerusalem.

it(jerusalem) has been fought over since the start of time. which is very amazing. because, during the show, i thought these people were fighting for something they believed in. something that is in their heart and soul, fighting for something they have only heard of. yet, it is eternal.

the 2nd crusade, which the film is based upon shows how a somewhat stupid knight provoking war between the christians and muslims. the city of jerusalem seemed to be in total peace at that time, of course the muslim army who came out after agitation massively outnumbered the christians, who bravely fought a losing war.

anyhows, its interesting to know what happened before and after the period being mentioned. for during the 1st crusade, the christian victors who eventually occupied the kingdom for a lifetime massacarred the remaining jews through burning their synagouges with the jews inside and drove the muslims into exile. like, how greedy is that?

orlando bloom's character mentioned they were fighting a war for their ancestor's mistake of murdering the muslims. and they(the muslims) were fighting a war not of their own fault , or something like that la. im surprised if i haven't bored you up till now.

it appears that his character did not fight for his believe of the omnipresent, but for the children and families that was under threat. or something like that. just watch the movie la ok? if you're underaged, wait for check out the VCD stores for rental.

i dropped a bottle of apple juice in the NTUC which landed at the feet of a guy who had his trolley and all. and the juice spilt open. shock took over my body , then a flurry of apologies came from me la. but that crackhead looked at me like i just fucked his not-so-pretty wife and did not reassure me . he said nothing at all for a whole 30 seconds. then he said nothing for the next 30 seconds. i gave up and got myself a new bottle. all the while i was apologising. his sister or however she was related to him was trying to lighten the situation. but the guy just stared on. i bet his kid was waiting for his dad to say something.
hey im sorry i spoilt his day, but come on, everyone else was like not taking it too seriously. as if i spilt the bottle over his head. blame NTUC for not double sealing their bottles like everyone else. but i simply cant stand it. the guy said nothing AT ALL and looked as if he wanted to pick a fight with me. the juice barely spilt onto his pants. if i wanted to wet him i would have ran off straight away ok. i was at fault but what kind of person is he? so he wants his kid to grow up and pick a fight with every guy who accidentally spoils his day.

then when i helped a guy pick up some dvd off the floor for his kid. he hardly made eye contact to smile and went back talking to his wife, who doesnt even bother to thank me. not that i wanted a $5 tip. but come on la, its basic courtesy ok. a stranger helped your kid's imitation "the incredibles" dvd off the floor and you say nothing. i wont be surprised if some other guy helps that freakshow that was in the babytrolley-whateveryoucallit, the kid would just walk off.
argh. im so pissed. what happened to the simplest of manners to thank someone in the slightest of manners, even a raised eyebrow would have done. and the guy at NTUC simply turned me off. i actually picked up the bottle infront of him and he still said nothing. really i wanted to turn back and say so many things, but he was gone. REALLY. im not kidding. he walked off. go ask shafi or shukri. oh, they by the way, helped ALOT. they were there laughing their arses off ok.
but shukri said i apologised wayy too much. so much that it warranted a "what-the-fuck-did-you-do-that-you-scum-bag-piece-of-shit-hole-fag-i-will-call-the-police-on-you-i-am-so-dumbfounded-i-cant-say-anything" look from the guy.

ooooh my, i am so very not very happy. shukri says people like them make the world colourful. i say people like them spoil the day for people like me. thank goodness its already so late.
