This is by far my mum's most productive week. She cooked 4 times. Nasi lemak, something, something, and something. I think my brother just ran away from home and my dad didn’t give me pocket money for 3 days. How the hell do I save up for the Thai tour, which is in 1 month and 2/3 weeks.

In Southeast Asia News
The Bangkok trip has been renamed to The Thailand Tour, or TTT, since our itinerary includes only 2 days in Bangkok, a day in kan-cha-na-bu-ri (is there anyplace in Singapore with 5 syllables?)(The Death railway place) and the rest would be haggling for cheaper prices and heading down to pattaya, which is only 3 1/2 hours away from Bangkok. Only.

Once we reach pattaya, I can visit all the restaurants and ask for nasi pattaya. For which I will receive intrigued looks and quizzical replies.

Entertainment.
I went to catch I am David Sparkle yesterday, and i'm starting to think that they are a highly jinxed band at the waterfront theatre. The last time they were at baybeats, the only got to play 2 songs, instead of 4. Shit happens anyway, he says.

I just watched ong-bak the other day, it was pretty coooool. The girl was so cute. And I really should start watching Thai shows and learn how to speak like them.

In Busines
school is ending officially in a month, but I’ll end 2 weeks early. Which means, I have 2 weeks to complete the radio capsule, social psychology (hahh, I like spelling that out. like some big tough module) journal, Final assessed speech and our proposal.

I met Indra the other day in the library, sadly, Felix is not working at Dolce Vita anymore. Means if I go back there, there'll be no old man to go home with. But I’ve more or less landed a part-time job there for the holidays.

Now, let’s say I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at an average of $5 an hour for 4 weeks. Take away afew lazy days where I don’t turn up for work or something crops up, I should earn slightly less than $750. Which is.. Totally not enough. I’ll figure something out.

When I was younger, and I couldn't sleep, I’d get my maid to tell me stories. Which was so interesting I ended up more awake then sleepier. then when she got bored/tired of telling me stories or didn’t want to make me Milo before she slept, I’d ask her "are you asleep yet? Ok if you're asleep, say something; if your not, don’t say anything". She’d reply by grunting something back. I still got my Milo anyway. Spoilt brat.


I’m starting to like myself only in the morning. That’s when my stomach (James) is at its flattest. After breakfast/lunch, it tends to bulge out and pop out like some pregnant lady.

Speaking of hitting my counter into and over the roof, the last time i put on the counter, someone actually did me the honour of skyrocketing my counter to 4000 in a few days, and i noticed only afewdays after afewdays.
