bones sinking like stones.

all of us are done for

fired rice paradise and fake locks.

its not as hot as we thought it would be, and it only rained once so far here.

so far its been a good trip. wonderful one, if not for us being broke on the 3rd day of our 6 day trip. (thursday to tuesday)

everyday, we lose count of the number of people who think we're thai. i've been trying to fake tuk tuk drivers with my thai accent but the moment i say how much, they're quick to jack the prices above metred-taxi rates.

after 2 and a half days of intense shopping at boutiques combined with HORRIBLE bargaining skills by yours truly, we're left broke with only $30 to last for the next few days. my partner is hooked on fired rice and i've never been so thirsty.

low on battery and low on cash, things are not really fun here in khao san, some say khao sarn.

the best part about bangkok is that the weekends are quieter than the weekdays, meaning zoom zoom on tuk tuk. we got irritated with chatuchak yesterday, hot and difficult to find good shops and so we left early and headed to suan lum night market for a second time.

there we realised we're better shoppers when we're cranky and moody. our bargaining skills are more sharper and we have lower tolerance on high prices. this is good, because people who use compassion to get money from us dont usually get it.

nyeargh. im ready to get home now. i was thinking of scrapping the plane on tuesday and leave for sg tmr on a train. then she said, we need money for that.

i took out my dreadlocks, it was weirdly too painful for me to keep. plus my mum would kill me if i came back like looking like firman. i dont know if it was poor skills by the people who did it or i just have a weak scalp.

its dark and the fired rice shops should be out too. time to get dinner. =)
