the glowering.
the day was well spent crawling around the kampong glam district recording our interviews for the radio assignment. it went pretty well but the session with mister al-majlis was so damn long. when asked about how sheesha has turned to be a fav past time with some youths, he rambled on about clubbing and msning and talking and going back to basics. somehow he managed to connect that with our question successfully.
his part of the interview was 12mins, all this for a segment lasting no more than 4-5 mins. thank you for making our editing process a bitch later on. but i wldnt have known my dad was in the KGBa committee if dr talib didnt mention anything. and of course in the true good old sense of "janji melayu", he skips the past two general meetings after being appointed just recently.
another long weekend awaits. its practically a 2 day week for me this week. lectures on tuesday. class today. and tmr's class is cancelled, with vesak day on friday.
oh yea. i'll be back in school on saturday for newswriting.
