heads you win, tails you win
managed to catch da vinci code in the end at century square with back row seats on opening day! haha. i just found it quite exciting.
the movie lived up quite to its hype and all. there's not much to deviate from the book itself so it was quite exciting to watch the whole process going on. but i've forgotten what happened towards the end, so even if they changed the whole ending with the cameo from the whole priory (which i dont recall), i wldn't know.
it didnt feel like there was no school at all today, and i'll certainly feel the long hours of tmr at the end of it. 5.30am... urghhh.

19 May, 2006 02:50.I caught the advance screening on Tuesday night, and I was completely UNDERwhelmed.
Aside from the first 15 minutes or so, it's talky, overlong and plain dull.
Tom Hanks looks bored and tired. And way too much of the "thriller" is given over to having people talk about the "facts" related to the conspiracy, rather than thrilling us with the pursuit of the answers.
Several critics in the audience chuckled during those moments when the big "secrets" are revealed.
I posted a review of the movie on my blog.

she was supposed to be re united with her brother as well and the priory was never there.
I wonder why they never showed in detail how the priory ritual was carried out. That was rhetorical. I was looking forward to that.
still, worth my 8 smackaroos.

i think i'd have to agree with tom hanks looking bored and tired, but the story did run from night till mid day(following day) with the stress of holding anwsers to the "greatest cover up" in the world.
and i cant view your profile.
hmm, i dont remember the final part of the story at all. but i think they showed enough of the ritual la.. i wont wanna see an old man getting it on with masked men surrounding him.. cringeyy..
